This week’s preview illustration is for my other project. This one is about 19th and 20th century inventions, some quite well-known, others are not. But they definitely put their marks on science. These two spreads are from the book I’m making and they are explaining the working and use of a small but amazing part of a fluorescent microscope, the epi-illuminator, made by J.S. Ploem. (it’s all in Dutch, sorry :)

Hi Everyone!

As you see I’ve been putting my website series on hold for a while. I am concentrating on two other projects that are due in june, so this takes quite a lot of time :) don’t worry, my series will be back in the summer with some handy tips.

In the meantime

I’ll give you a preview of some of the illustrations that I’m working on right now. They are illustrations for two books, animations and some kitchen textile design that I’ll put on the site too when they are ready and produced.

So take a look at this first one that accompanies the recipe for Chinese Prawn Fritters!

I’ve had a presentation at Stichting Starterslift this week to get into their program. They support businesses that have a potential and are just starting up.

I am accepted!
